任何信仰人都是以能夠進入天國為所望而堅守信仰的。那麼能夠實現這一所望的乃是遵守應許之約的人。有人靠聖靈入門但卻又回到了肉身（加3:1~3），也有人因為不具備（原文作「沒有」）關於應許之聖經話語的知識而滅亡（何4:6）。
